What's the difference between the BoD and the 1984?
The BoD is a complete wall-mounted hangboard: 19 grips from 15 to 40 mm, to train at home. The 1984 is a pair of portable fingerboards that fit in a bag, to warm up at the gym, at the crag or while travelling. They complement each other, hence our pack.
Do I need to drill the wall to install the BoD?
No, it's up to you. The BoD screws to the wall with the 4 included screws, or hangs with the included ropes from a pull-up bar, a ceiling beam or a frame. Always check that the support is solid.
I'm a beginner, is a hangboard right for me?
Yes, as long as you start slowly: big 40 mm holds, feet resting on a chair, two sessions a week at most.
What are your products made of?
Sanded pine wood. Wood is gentler on the skin than resin, which makes all the difference when you train several times a week. Sandpaper is included to adjust the texture.
What are the dimensions of the BoD?
55 × 15 × 4.5 cm, weighing about 800 g.

What if the gift isn't right?
The 14-day return right starts from delivery. If you order early for Christmas, keep the packaging and get in touch if needed: we'll find a solution.

How much does shipping cost?
In mainland France, delivery to a Mondial Relay pickup point or locker is free on orders of €45 or more (€3.49 below that). Home delivery costs €9.99 and is free on orders of €69 or more. Pickup in Paris is free.
In the European Union, standard shipping costs €11.99.
When will I receive my order?
We ship within 24 business hours. Then allow 3 to 5 business days in France, and 5 to 8 business days elsewhere in the European Union.
How do I track my parcel?
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as the carrier picks up your parcel.
Which countries do you ship to?
France and several European Union countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Available shipping options are always shown at checkout.
↩️ Returns and payment
Can I return a product?
Yes. You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind, no questions asked, including for discounted products and packs. Let us know by email, then send the complete product back within 14 days. Return shipping is at your expense, unless the product is defective or doesn't match your order.
My parcel arrived damaged, what should I do?
Take a photo of the parcel and the product, and email us with your order number. We'll offer a replacement or a refund.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, PayPal, Klarna and Bancontact. Payment is secure and encrypted.

A team of passionate climbers based in the Paris region: bouldering gyms during the week, Fontainebleau as soon as the weekend and the weather allow.
Rocklands was born from a frustration you probably share. The day we wanted to train seriously at home, we faced two options: cheap gear with no soul, or overpriced premium boards. Nothing in between.
So we designed our own. In wood, because it's gentler on your skin when you train several times a week. With every grip we needed on a single board, from the warm-up jug to the edge that hurts. And with ropes, because not everyone is allowed to drill their walls.
Every product is tested by the team before it reaches you. Our names say it all: the BoD pays tribute to Burden of Dreams, the world's first 9A boulder. Our t-shirts celebrate Fontainebleau and its legendary boulders.
