Terms of sale

This is an English translation of our French Terms of Sale. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

TERMS OF SALE
Effective 1 June 2026 — Rocklands (SIRET 892 522 368 00026)

Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These Terms of Sale govern sales of products made by Rocklands, a French sole trader (micro-entrepreneur) registered under SIRET 892 522 368 00026, to any non-professional buyer (hereinafter “the Customer”) through the website rocklandsproject.com.

Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale.

Article 2 — Products
Rocklands sells climbing training equipment made of natural wood (wall-mounted hangboards and portable fingerboards), accessories (belay glasses) and apparel (t-shirts and tank tops).

Product photos and descriptions are provided for information purposes. Because wood is a natural material, slight variations in colour or grain between products are normal and do not constitute a defect.

Apparel is made to order by our printing partner, which ships it directly. It may therefore arrive in a separate parcel from the rest of the order.

Article 3 — Prices
Prices are stated in euros (€), all taxes included. Rocklands benefits from the VAT exemption for small businesses (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code): no VAT is applicable.

Rocklands reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is confirmed.

Article 4 — Orders
An order is final once payment has been confirmed. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer as soon as possible.

Rocklands reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a stock shortage, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud. The Customer is then refunded in full.

Article 5 — Payment
Payment is due in full when the order is placed. Accepted payment methods are those offered by the Shopify Payments platform (credit card, etc.).

The Customer's payment details are processed securely by Shopify Payments. Rocklands never has access to the Customer's bank details.

Article 6 — Delivery

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify their decision to the following address: betabreakeurz@gmail.com

The product must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging, within 14 days of the notification. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

The refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.

Article 8 — Legal guarantees
Rocklands products benefit from the following legal guarantees under the French Consumer Code:

Legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-4 et seq.): 2 years from delivery. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may request repair or replacement of the product.

Guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code): the Customer may request a refund or a price reduction if a defect makes the product unfit for its intended use.

Article 9 — Liability
Rocklands products are training tools intended for sports use. The Customer acknowledges using these products at their own risk, in accordance with the instructions provided.

Rocklands cannot be held liable for non-compliant use, incorrect installation or inappropriate use of the product.
